The listed Victorian cartshed at Beal is one of the largest of its kind in Northumberland. The popular visitor centre preserves the fine interior and original cast iron columns and includes a number of sustainable technologies.

Redundant agricultural and industrial buildings can often be converted to new economically sustainable uses which preserve their historic character. We firmly believe that such buildings should continue to be used wherever possible, ensuring are maintained and their special qualities can continue to be enjoyed.
